Amazon Launches Low-Cost Ecommerce Service in US

The mentioned e-commerce giant’s new digital trading solution has been named Amazon Haul. In the company’s press release, which was published on Wednesday, November 13, it was stated the specified service offers customers in the United States the opportunity to find more financially affordable products in various categories. Amazon Haul is available on the firm’s mobile website and in the shopping app.

It is worth noting that the e-commerce giant’s new service is currently in beta testing. The company’s customers in the United States will have access to this functional solution with the next update of the shopping app.

Dharmesh Mehta, vice president of Worldwide Selling Partner Services at Amazon, stated that it is very important for clients to find great products at very low prices. According to him, the e-commerce giant is currently continuing to explore ways to collaborate with its selling sales partners to meet the mentioned customer needs. He also stated that Amazon Haul strives to make shopping for fashion, home, lifestyle, electronics, and other products even more fun, easy and affordable. In this context, Dharmesh Mehta mentioned Amazon’s A-to-Z product guarantee so customers can shop with confidence that the products they are purchasing are safe, authentic, and in the condition expected.

As part of the new service from the e-commerce giant, products are sold at a price of $20 or less, but the cost of most items does not exceed $10. Moreover, some products customers can buy for as little as $1.

It is worth mentioning that in the summer it was announced that Amazon plans to add a new section to its website, which will feature items at lower prices imported from China for overseas consumers. In this case, there is a desire for the company to compete with brands such as Temu and Shein.

In the current month, Amazon began collaborating with Jüsto, a Mexican grocery delivery startup. The implementation of this partnership will allow customers of the e-commerce giant in Mexico to order fresh produce, meat, and other groceries directly from the platform of the mentioned startup. For Amazon, interacting with Jüsto means an opportunity to increase the speed of delivery in grocery. It is in this category that the e-commerce giant has historically been inferior to its competitor Walmart.

Amazon Prime is currently making efforts to replicate the mentioned rival’s success in grocery, despite using its vast e-commerce infrastructure and membership program. The e-commerce giant offers grocery delivery to customers through its Whole Foods partnership. At the same time, this service is available only in select locations and provides for a delivery fee in many regions. Separately, it is worth noting that for many Prime members groceries continue to be a secondary offer. For them, this service is a channel for fast delivery of items of other categories. At the same time, the convenience of bundling groceries with other Amazon benefits is becoming more and more interesting for shoppers.
