The initiative aims to help 100 suppliers, bring together 200 technical partners and 20,000 enterprise service partners
JD.com and Lenovo announced the launch of the first of its kind business-to-manufacturer (B2M) platform. Companies aim to sell RMB 10 billion ($1.4 billion) in enterprise products in the next three years.
Lenovo will offer its full line products via JD’s enterprise procurement platform. B2M platform will provide enterprise clients with customized products and services. It will also enable business clients on JD to submit individual needs, based on which Lenovo will design and manufacture customized products accordingly.
Vast logistics network, customization will be available not only for large companies but also for SMEs, accounting for more than 90% of the market in China.
