According to Ecommerce News, CCC Group has launched its online shop CCC.eu in Hungary and Austria. In Hungary, the group already operates two e-commerce platforms, whereas Austria will the group’s e-commerce platform for the first time.

In general, the retailer has more than 50 online platforms across Europe. Not only with CCC.eu, but also with Eobuwie (acquired in 2015), Modivo, DeeZee, and Gino Rossi. During Q1 2020, the company’s total online sales share was 43%, compared to 28% in 2019.

We see a huge potential in e-commerce that we want to use. With the current market environment and the ongoing lockdown in Europe in mind, we decided to accelerate the launch of the CCC platform. This way, we want to meet the needs of our customers and neutralize the negative impact that closing stores, due to the global pandemic coronavirus, has on our business
Jakub Jasiu0144ski, director of omnichannel at CCC

The data found that Polish footwear retailer is currently present in 16 European markets after its launch in Austria and Hungary. In March, its online shop was launched in Romania, while it opened in the Czech Republic and Slovakia at the end of 2019. Besides, the group already operates both online Eobuwie store and online fashion platform Modivo in Hungary.
