Since the COVID-19’s outbreak, Zalando has waived the commission fee and shifted to a weekly pay-out schedule
According to Ecommerce News, Zalando will expand its Connected Retail program to Poland, Sweden, and Spain.
With the Connected Retail program, brick-and-mortar retailers get access to online orders from customers who shop on the Zalando platform.?This way, the retailers will keep control over prices, assortment, and shipment quantities.
More than 1,800 brick-and-mortar stores in Germany and the Netherlands are currently connected to the platform.?All the connected retailers don’t need to pay a commission fee for two months, the report states.
We’ve reported that the University of Antwerp and research institute Imec have developed Shavatar, a 3D avatar tool that enables consumers to create their own?avatars?based on a few parameters. The tool then suggests the right size and fit of any given fashion item.
