Galaxy Fold
Eight years after the debut of Samsung’s first flexible display prototype, the company has revived the “foldable frenzy”, unveiling?Galaxy Fold.?The zest of the new device is (suddenly) its 7.3-inch Infinity Flex Display, which, according to DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division at Samsung Electronics, “introduces a completely new category that unlocks new capabilities never seen before”. The device is packed with powerful hardware so that the user can simultaneously use up to three apps on the main display. It also has a complex camera system.?Galaxy Fold is equipped with 6 lenses – three in the back, two on the inside and one on the cover.
Consumers who wish to purchase this brand new technical fad will be able to do so in the second quarter of 2019. It will cost almost twice as much as S10+ at $1980.
